CJMCU-101 is an integrated photodiode and a built-in transimpedance amplifier, and the output voltage increases linearly with the light intensity. The amplifiers are single- or dual-supply designs, enabling use in battery-operated devices. Integrating the photodiode and transimpedance amplifier on a single chip reduces common problems in discrete designs such as leakage current errors, noise and gain peaking due to stray capacitance. Moreover, the 0.09*0.09inch photodiode works in the photoconductive mode, which can have good linearity and very low dark current. The operating voltage of OPT101 is 2.7 to 36V, and the quiescent current is only 120uA. No need for infrared.
