Description

ACS712 module 5A 20A 30A range current detection board ACS712-05B Hall current sensor

Graphic details

Overview: This module is a linear current sensor, designed based on the principle of Hall induction. It consists of a built-in precise low-bias linear Hall sensor circuit and a copper foil located close to the IC surface. When the current passes through the copper foil, a magnetic field is generated. The Hall element senses a linear voltage signal according to the magnetic field. After internal amplification, filtering, chopping and correction circuits, it outputs a voltage proportional to the detected AC or DC current.
It can be applied to the motor field, load detection and management, switching power supply and overcurrent fault protection.

Special note: ACS712 is based on the principle of Hall detection. Try to avoid the influence of magnetic fields when using it.

Product parameters:
Current sensor chip: ACS712ELCTR-05B-T
Onboard power indicator
Working voltage: DC5V single voltage operation
Accuracy range (IP): Can measure ±5A current, corresponding to analog output 185mV/A; IP=0A
That is, when no detection current passes, the output voltage is VCC/2, that is, 2.5V, calculation formula
VOUT=2.5+0.185*IP
