If external power is required, simply connect the + pin of the external power supply to the 5V terminal and the GND pin to the negative terminal. (3.3-6V power supplies are supported.) Remember that when connecting an external power supply, you cannot connect to USB. You can only choose between USB and external power.

Entering Download Mode: Press and hold the BOOT button on the ESP32C3, then press the RESET button. Release the RESET button, then release the BOOT button. The ESP32C3 will enter Download Mode. (You need to re-enter download mode each time you connect. Sometimes, pressing it once can cause the port to become unstable and disconnect. You can verify this by listening to the port identification sound.)

Serial port printing is not working on the ESP32C3SuperMini/ESP32S3PiCo/ESP32S2PiCo. Solution: If using a direct USB connection in the Arduino environment, remember to enable CDC on boot. If using a USB-to-serial converter, remember to disable CDC on boot.
