OPA1622 is a dual-channel, bipolar input, SoundPlus™ audio operational amplifier. The device has an ultra-low noise density of 2.8nV/√Hz and an ultra-low THD+N of –119.2dB at a frequency of 1kHz. It can also drive a 32Ω load with an output power of 100mW. OPA1622 has extremely high AC power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) specifications, which can eliminate the noise from the power supply, so it is very suitable for portable audio applications. In addition, the device has a high output drive capability of +145mA/–130mA.
The OPA1622 supports a wide supply voltage range of ±2V to ±18V, and the supply current per channel is only 2.6mA. The unity gain of the OPA1622 operational amplifier is stable and can maintain excellent dynamic performance under a wide range of load conditions. The OPA1622 has a shutdown mode, allowing the amplifier to switch from normal operation to a state where the standby current is typically less than 5µA. This shutdown feature is specifically designed to eliminate clicks and crackles when entering or exiting shutdown mode.
The OPA1622 uses a unique internal layout to achieve the lowest crosstalk and zero interaction between channels even under overdrive or overload conditions. The temperature rating of this device is between –40°C and +125°C.
