Product Introduction
The Raspberry Pi Pico is a flexible, easy-to-use, and open-source electronic prototyping platform. Launched by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, it differs from previous Raspberry Pi products in that it is a silicon-based microcontroller development board designed for the Raspberry Pi.

The Raspberry Pi Pico is positioned as a high-performance single-chip microcontroller controller, dedicated to addressing the Raspberry Pi’s shortcomings in hardware control, and is a key component in complementing the Raspberry Pi product ecosystem. As a lower-level computer, it supports a variety of development platforms, including the Raspberry Pi and PCs (including Windows, Linux, and Mac). It offers extensive GPIO and peripheral support. Its overall development system includes a hardware circuit board and an officially provided SDK (Software Development Kit). The hardware utilizes the Raspberry Pi’s independently developed RP2040 microcontroller chip, featuring an ARM Cortex M0+ dual-core processor operating at up to 133MHz, 264KB of RAM, 2MB of internal memory, and 26 multi-function GPIO pins. For software development, you can choose the C/C++ SDK provided by the Raspberry Pi, or use MicroPython. Comprehensive development materials and tutorials are provided, making it easy to quickly get started with development and embed applications into products.
