Driver Installation Overview:
Instructions
Win7/Win8
1. First, open the installation package and click Next. Remember the installation directory.
2. Start the service as follows.
3. Find the driver in Device Manager, select Update Driver, browse your computer for the driver, select the directory you just installed, confirm, and wait.
Win8.1
Right-click the driver and it will automatically search for the driver. You may get a message saying the driver data is invalid. This problem often occurs in Windows 8. The driver is fine, but it may not install initially. Later, it turns out it may be due to hardware incompatibility. If you’re using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, running Ghost or another non-genuine operating system, and have used various optimization tools to streamline and optimize the system, you may encounter an “Invalid Data” error during driver installation. Here’s how to fix this:
1. Press Winkey+R on your keyboard and enter “services.msc” in the “Run” dialog box that pops up. You can also find “Services” in the “Computer Management” window.
2. In the services list, find “Device Install Service” and “Device Setup Manager” and confirm whether these services are enabled. If not, click “Start” on the left to enable them.
